PJSC Federal Grid Company- Rosseti (PJSC Rosseti) is incorporated, in accordance with the restructuring program designed for the Russian Federation power industry, as the organization performing the unified national electric grid management, including its maintenance and development. The state registration took place on June 25, 2002. PJSC Rosseti grid facilities are in 78 regions of the Russian Federation. In accordance with the applicable laws, PJSC Rosseti is a natural monopoly, and the company business is regulated by the government. PJSC Rosseti owns 2 450 000 km of transmission lines and substations with a total transformation capacity of more than 826,000 MW. The Group includes 43 subsidiaries and affiliates, including 16 distribution grid companies. The company’s electric power output was over 573,5 billion kWh in 2021. The Investment Program for 2021 to 2024 was developed to resolve the following problems: to maintain fully operational status of backbone electric grids, to create electric grid infrastructure facilities required to maintain effective operations of the wholesale competitive market of electric energy, and to create opportunities to connect to new consumers. On July 16, 2008, shares of PJSC "Rosseti" were offered for trading on the key Russian exchanges: RTS and MICEX. On May 15, 2020, in accordance with the decision of the AGM of Shareholders of PJSC FGC UES, the powers of the sole executive body of the company were transferred to the managing organization - PJSC Rosseti. On September 14, 2022, the EGM of Shareholders of PJSC FGC UES adopted the decision to reorganize the company by merging PJSC Rosseti, JSC DVEUK - UNEG, JSC Tomsk Trunk Grids and JSC Kuban Backbone Grids. At the same time, a decision was made to rename PJSC FGC UES into a PJSC Federal Grid Company - Rosseti (PJSC Rosseti), as well as terminated the powers of the managing organization. From January 9, 2023, the parent company The Rosseti Group is the PJSC Federal Grid Company - Rosseti (PJSC Rosseti).
