Moscow, Russia – April 14, 2023 – Mechel PAO (MOEX: MTLR), one of the leading Russian mining and metals companies, reports the appointment of Alexander Beinarovich as chief executive officer of Mecheltrans Management Company OOO. His predecessor Alexander Bobryshev has left the company.

“Over the past several years of working for the Group, Alexander proved himself a competent leader. He has great experience in organizing logistics for the mining and steel complex. His high professionalism is a valuable asset for the Group’s transport division in the current environment of supply chain transformation. We are glad to welcome Alexander to our top management and wish him success and further fruitful work,” Mechel PAO’s Chief Executive Officer Oleg Korzhov commented.

Prior to his appointment, since 2021 Alexander Beinarovich headed Mecheltrans Management Company’s operations department. In 2020-2021, he was chief of Mecheltrans Management Company’s Technological Transport project. In 2019-2020, he was transport and logistics director at EVRAZ Consolidated West-Siberian Metallurgical Plant. In 2016-2019, he was logistics director at EVRAZ Holding’s Siberia division. In 2015-2016, he was transport logistics director at EVRAZ Consolidated West-Siberian Metallurgical Plant. In 2012-2015, he was operational improvement director at EVRAZ’s Nizhny Tagil Iron and Steel Plant. In 2006-2011, he headed the railroad transport department and then was deputy transport director at Nizhny Tagil Iron and Steel Plant. In 2001-2006, he was head of West-Siberian Metallurgical Plant’s Novokuznetsk-Severny region.

Alexander Beinarovich graduated Siberian State Industrial University with a specialty in organizing shipments and transport management.
