PJSC Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MOEX: MAGN) announces the release of the 2022 Sustainability Report on the corporate website.

The document reveals up-to-date information about MMK's activities in the field of sustainable development in relation to several most significant aspects, including environmental responsibility, social initiatives, corporate governance and work with personnel, as well as the economic results of the relevant activities. The Report presents the company's achievements in these and other areas, including MMK's contribution to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and describes the relationship between the company's business and ESG strategies and the most important and large-scale projects and activities implemented during the period.

"In 2022, MMK celebrated its 90th anniversary. Since the beginning of its operations, the company has maintained leadership not only in metallurgical production, but also in terms of its social mission and environmental work. Today, MMK continues to develop and is actively engaged in the work that helps to ensure a safe and comfortable environment and a sustainable future for all stakeholders," MMK CEO Pavel Shilyaev said commenting on the publication of the Report.

The document was prepared under the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative’s Sustainability Reporting Standards) and SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board) reporting standards.
