Integrated annual reports for 2023 have been published on the
corporate websites of Rosseti Centre (ticker - MRKC) and Rosseti
Centre and Volga region (ticker - MRKP). The documents were prepared
using the methodology of the Global Reporting Initiative GRI
Standards with reference to the United Nations Sustainable
Development Goals (the UN SDGs) to which the Companies adhere. When
making the reports, they took into account the recommendations of the
Bank of Russia and the Russian Union of Industrialists and
Entrepreneurs on the disclosure of non-financial information, as well
as the guide for issuers “How to comply with the best practices of
sustainable development” of the Moscow Exchange. In the reporting
year, the Companies placed special emphasis in their reports on their
contribution to the implementation of the National Projects of
Russia.
The reports contain an overview of the Companies’
performance results for 2023 and the trends of indicators in
2021–2023. Over the past year, the Companies focused on
strengthening interaction with all stakeholders and technological
development. The management of the Companies was carried out taking
into account the set strategic goals and was aimed at ensuring the
reliability and quality of electricity supply, increasing the total
return of shareholders and ensuring resistance to changes in the
global and local electricity market. The reports describe in detail
ways to achieve these goals through the development of key areas of
activity: digital transformation, development of new types of
business, increasing operational and investment efficiency, as well
as developing human resources. At the same time, the Companies are
increasing their production capacity and working to reduce
electricity losses, maintaining their leading position in the market
for electricity transmission and grid connection. The effectiveness
of the Companies’ management system is assessed in the reports not
only from the perspective of financial and operational results, but
also using the ESG indicators for environmental and social aspects.
