In 2021, new charging stations for electric vehicles will appear in the Samara region. The “Samara Distribution Grids” branch of Rosseti Volga, PJSC is developing the charging infrastructure in the region in accordance with the All-Russian Program of Rosseti, PJSC.
Currently, there are 9 charging stations for electric vehicles of the Mode 3 type in the Samara region – this is charging with alternating current of increased power. They are wall-mounted vandal-resistant panels with charging sockets, and the vehicle is connected via a supplied cable.
The new charging stations will be of the Mode 4 type – the charging is carried out using direct current and takes only half an hour instead of 4–6 hours, as it happens now. The charging station will also be accessed using a special RFID card.
The locations for fast chargers are being determined. The investment will amount to 5,5 million rubles.
