The meeting chaired by Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and Nikolai Shulginov, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, was held today.

The main results of Rosseti in 2020: -
Against the background of the changing economic situation and a 4% decrease in productive supply, the company achieved a positive financial result. -
In 2020, more than 25,000 km of power transmission lines and 9,000 MVA of transformer capacity were commissioned. The volume of financing under the investment program amounted to 283.3 billion rubles.

The main issues to focus on include improving the procedure for preferential access to infrastructure, reducing cross-subsidization, and ensuring the long-term nature of tariff decisions adopted. Particularly noteworthy is the need to create an effective mechanism for consolidating power grid facilities and improving the TGO (territorial grid organisation) criteria”, emphasized Andrey Ryumin.
The tasks for 2021 and the near future also include:

-Implementation of the maintenance and renovation program. This year’s volumes are comparable to those of the last year, and the main events are scheduled to be completed by October 1, 2021. Rosseti will allocate 71.4 billion rubles to finance the program.
-Execution of the investment program in accordance with the adjustment approved by the Ministry of Energy of Russia in December 2020. The planned amount of financing for a 5-year investment cycle (2020-2024) exceeds 1.5 trillion rubles.
-Activities under the Comprehensive Plan for Upgrading and Expanding the Trunk Infrastructure (national project). Plans for 2021-2022 include commissioning six power supply facilities for the BAM and Transsib (996 MVA and 736 km of power lines), the construction of new 330 kV lines to expand the capacity of the Kola-Karelian transit (849 km).
- Power supply of the Universiade-2023 facilities in Yekaterinburg, reorganizing networks for the construction of the Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod-Kazan high-speed highway, a number of complex projects to systematically improve the power supply to consumers in the North Caucasus and the Center.
