The mass renovation will start in April and will end in September. The plans for the repair campaign are formed on the basis of visual inspections of the equipment of substations and overhead lines, various types of measurements and diagnostics, thermal imaging, ultrasonic, chemical examinations.
The power suppliers will repair about 7.3 thousand km of overhead power transmission lines (OL) from 0.4 to 110 kV. At the OLs, 16 thousand supports, more than 83 thousand insulators, 792 km of wire and 73 km of ground wire will be replaced. Repair of more than 1.5 thousand support foundations is planned.
