DGC of Volga, PJSC was recognized as the best enterprise in the electric power industry of the Saratov region to ensure the reliability of power supply in 2018. This decision was unanimously reached by the reader’s jury, which over the past year has been tracking materials on enterprises in various sectors of the economy, industry and the agricultural sector of the Saratov region.

 For the first year in a row, IDGC of Volga, PJSC has received the maximum rating of readers of the "AiF-Saratov" newspaper and website in the corresponding nomination. During 2018, IDGC of Volga, PJSC continued systematic work to ensure reliable operation and development of the power grid sector.

During this period, more than 350 km of transmission lines and over 30 MVA of transformer capacity were introduced in the Saratov Distribution Grids branch only. The company successfully passed the autumn-winter period, confirming the system reliability of the distribution grid complex in adverse weather conditions. The largest power facilities were reconstructed on the territory of the Saratov Region - substations SS 110/35/10 kV Tatishchevo and SS 110/6 kV Rakhovskaya Substation, which had a positive effect on improving the reliability of power supply to consumers.

Commenting on the award of the weekly magazine “AiF - Saratov", Vladimir Ryabikin, General Director of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, noted that IDGC of Volga is a socially responsible company that makes every effort to ensure reliable and high-quality power supply to consumers. Power engineers are ahead of the large-scale plans.

“Last year, IDGC of Volga, like other companies of the Rosseti group, actively began to implement the concept of digital transformation, which involves the complete transformation of the power grid infrastructure by 2030 through the introduction of digital technologies. All this will further reduce power losses, improve the reliability and availability of power supply to consumers. Receiving the award of the contest “Leader of the Year - 2018” has once again confirmed that our activity has a high social significance for the residents of the Saratov Region and other six regions of the Volga Federal District under the responsibility of IDGC of Volga”, -Vladimir Ryabikin emphasized.
