Lenta opens a new supermarket in Moscow

St. Petersburg, Russia; 4 April 2019– Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its new supermarket in Moscow.

The new store is Lenta supermarket located at 11/4 Entuziastov highway, Balashikha, Moscow oblast. The store has a total area of 1,500 sq.m with 965 sq.m of selling space and is open from 08.00 am to 11 pm, 7 days a week. A broad assortment of products of 11,000 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Balashikha. The store has 100 parking spaces and 8 cash registers. The property is leased by Lenta.

Product assortment of the supermarket includes Lenta’s private labels and federal product ranges alongside local produce. The new opening is Lenta’s first supermarket launch in 2019 and brings the total number of Lenta stores to 245 hypermarkets in 88 cities across Russia and 136 supermarkets in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Siberia, Urals and the Central region.
