PJSC RusHydro’s (ticker symbol: MOEX, LSE: HYDR; OTCQX: RSHYY)
English version of the draft annual report took the platinum award
among international utilities in Vision Awards LACP global contest.
RusHydro was the only company in the sector to receive such award.
The company also ranked seventh among the top-50
in the EMEA region, was among the top-10 annual reports in Russia and
secured 33rd place in top-100 global annual reports –
the highest result among Russian companies. One thousand companies
participated in the top-100 global annual report contest and only
four were from Russia.
Experts ranked annual reports by eight categories:
first impression, cover, statement to shareholders, contents,
financial information, creativity, clarity and availability of
information. RusHydro ranked highest in seven categories with a final
score of 99 out of 100.
The company has prepared its annual report for the
fifteenth time. As last year, the annual report integrates financial
and operational information together with corporate and social
responsibility. RusHydro disclosed over 30% more indicators in
accordance with Global Reporting Initiative Sustainability Reporting
Standards (GRI SRS) and improved the disclosure quality of UN Global
Compact sustainable development goals until 2030 based on UNCTAD’s
Guidance on core indicators for entity reporting on contribution
towards implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals including
contribution to development of low-carbon generation in Russia.
RusHydro has been the contest prizewinner for the
third year in a row. In 2018, the company’s annual report took the
silver award in the integrated report’s printed version and annual
report’s web version nominations. Consequently, in 2019 RusHydro’s
annual report received the platinum and gold awards among global
utility companies for printed and web version respectively and 37th
place among top-100 annual reports.
LACP was established in 2001 and in among the
leading global communication platforms, which annually holds annual
report contests with over 1,000 participants from all over the world.
