In 2020, most of the capital investments of Orenburgenergo, a branch of Rosseti Volga, PJSC, are aimed at fulfilling the obligations for technological connection of facilities to electric power grids.

Within the framework of the investment program, since the beginning of the year, power engineers have carried out work at 601 facilities, of which 596 – of technical connection. The length of the power transmission lines put into operation was 237 km, and the amount of added transformer capacity was 11.2 MVA. Among those included in the grid are residential buildings, kindergartens, feldsher-midwife stations, industrial and agricultural enterprises, oil fields, cultural and recreational facilities, shops.

Also, the investment program of the Orenburgenergo branch for 2020 includes the reconstruction of 56 facilities. Among the reconstructed ones, there are 10, 110 kV power transmission lines in Saraktashsky, Belyaevsky, Kuvandyksky and Mednogorsky districts. The OL supply electricity to 80 settlements with 39 thousand inhabitants.

The reconstruction of electric power grids will improve the reliability of power supply to consumers in the region, as well as create a reserve for technological connection of new facilities in the Orenburg region.
