Today, on June 3, 2021, Artem Pidnik, Director General of Rosseti North-West, and Alexander Loginov, Director of the North-West Macro-Regional Branch of Rostelecom, in the presence of Andrey Ryumin, Director General of PJSC Rosseti, and Mikhail Oseevsky, President of PJSC Rostelecom, have signed a strategic partnership agreement at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The companies agreed to share experience in implementing and training lean manufacturing technologies over the next five years.
The main idea of lean manufacturing is the performance of useful actions only by each employee. Even a small daily improvement increases the efficiency of the entire company. Lean manufacturing covers all areas: from optimal utilization of a workplace to uniform standards for the installation and operation of equipment.
"Lean manufacturing is the basis on which all business processes should build. We will increase internal productivity without attracting additional external resources. For us, this means economic benefits and more comfortable conditions for our employees. For consumers, this means improvement of power supply reliability and the faster connection to the grid," - Artem Pidnik said.
Alexander Loginov, on behalf of Rostelecom, thanked Rosseti North-West for ongoing successful cooperation. "Being similar infrastructure organizations, we deem it essential to share experience, knowledge, and skills. This also includes practical training in lean technologies, including at training centers. I am sure that the new stage of our cooperation will allow our companies to reach a brand new level in all business processes," Alexander Loginov noted.
