Within the framework of Moscow’s Metal Week, an awards ceremony
took place for the winners of the annual contests held by the Russian
Union of Metal & Steel Suppliers (RUMSS). MMK Trading House and
several of its divisions were among those awarded in various
categories.
Each year, the RUMSS holds three All-Russian
contests: "Russia's Best Metal Warehouse", "Russia's
Best Service Metal Centre" and "Russia's Best Sales
Network". The purpose of these competitions is to popularise the
best achievements and practices for the distribution of metal
products and the development of warehousing and metal services on the
Russian metal market. Network and regional steel trading companies,
sales networks of steel companies, steel warehouses and steel service
centres take part in the contests. This year there were 107
applications, including 32 applications for the title of “Russia's
Best Service Metal Centre”, 50 applications for "Russia's Best
Metal Warehouse" and 25 applications for "Russia's Best
Sales Network".
MMK Trading House once again took home awards in
the competition. The Company was among the winners in "Russia's
Best Sales Network 2021". MMK Trading House in Magnitogorsk was
recognised for its high development dynamics in the "Russia's
Best Service Metal Centre 2021" category. The jury also highly
commended MMK Trading House in Shchelkovo in the production division.
In the competition "Russia's Best Metal Warehouse 2021",
the jury named MMK Trading House in Magnitogorsk among the best in
terms of service quality, and MMK Trading House in Ufa for service
development dynamics. The Kemerovo division of MMK Trading House was
a winner in the "Russia's Best Metal Warehouse 2021"
category.
MMK Trading House LLC is an authorised
representative of Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works in all regions of
Russia and in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The company provides about
40% of MMK's total sales to the steel trading industry and steel
service centres. At present, MMK Trading House has over thirty
separate subdivisions in Russia (which allows it to supply all
leading industrial centres) and five subdivisions in the Republic of
Kazakhstan.
