AK&M Rating Agency has prepared a group of ESG ratings of Russian
companies based on reporting following the results of activities for
2021.
Rosseti Centre, PJSC and Rosseti Centre and Volga region,
PJSC took the 1st and 6th place, respectively, in the Responsibility
to Society rating in the “Energy Grids” category. The Companies
also entered the TOP-5 of the rating “Social Efficiency among the
largest Russian companies in the power grid sector”.
The
readiness to take care of the environment is reflected in the Carbon
Footprint rating, which included 31 largest Russian companies. The
energy Companies became leaders in the rating, showing the lowest
specific emissions of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and taking
the second and third places.
According to the results of
a study on revenue conducted among 300 largest Russian companies, the
reporting of Rosseti Centre, PJSC and Rosseti Centre and Volga
region, PJSC at the end of 2021 received a RESG 2 rating - High level
of disclosure of information on sustainable development, scoring 76.8
and 78.8 points, respectively.

rating indicates that our company adheres to the principles of
sustainable development. We achieve significant results in ensuring
the reliability and availability of electricity for consumers,
improving energy efficiency, personnel safety, protecting the
environment and combating climate change. Along with this, we promote
economic growth and the creation of modern infrastructure in 20
constituent entities of the Russian Federation for the benefit of
their residents,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of
Rosseti Centre, PJSC and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC.
