This information was announced at the meeting devoted to the preparation for the upcoming autumn-winter period in the regions of the Southern Federal District, which was held in Sochi under the guidance of Aleksandr Novak, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, with the participation of Veniamin Kondratyev, Head of the Krasnodar Territory, and Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of Rosseti.
Over 3 years, Rosseti has reduced the accident rate by 21% in grids of at least 110 kV in the Southern Federal District (9 months of 2020 compared to the same period in 2017).
The physical scope of repair works on key items has been preserved or increased against the previous year. The emergency stock of equipment and materials has been created in full; a fleet of reserve power supply sources has been prepared (212 units, 32.7 MW). 147 ice-melting tests were carried out.
The Company continues the implementation of its investment program with the total amount of financing in the Southern Federal District in 2020 reaching 18.61 billion rubles. 1,550 MVA of transformer capacity and 1,190 km of power lines are planned to be put into operation. Priority projects are the construction of the Angarskaya digital substation, 110 kV, in Krasnodar and the overhaul of the Sadovaya substation, 220 kV, in Volgograd.
Rosseti is actively developing the grid infrastructure to increase cargo traffic to the ports of the Azov-Black Sea basin. In 2020, it built overhangs from the Vyshesteblievskaya – Buzhora (220 kV) and the Buzhora – Oil Transfer Pumping Station-8 (the 220 kV) power lines to three traction substations of Russian Railways in the Kuban.
As part of the meeting, its participants jointly inspected the Sochi substation, 110 kV, of Rosseti Kuban and special machinery used in the maintenance of energy infrastructure facilities.
In the regions of the Southern Federal District, the Rosseti Group is represented by the following power grid companies: Rosseti FGC UES, Rosseti South, and Rosseti Kuban, as well as the Mobile Gas-Turbine Thermal Power Plants of Rosseti FGC UES that manages small generation facilities. The production staff total headcount is 21,300 people (1,134 teams) who have 5,300 units of special equipment at their disposal. The service area includes 262,600 km of 0.4–500 kV power lines, 108 substations with a voltage class of 220 kV, 1,923 substations of 35–110 kV, and 56,350 transformer substations.
