As part of the 2021 investment program, the Saratov Distribution Grids Branch of Rosseti Volga, PJSC will allocate more than 1.6 billion rubles for the development of the region's electric grid complex.
The renovation of 110/10 kV OL of “Sazanley”, which will become the first highly automated substation in the Rosseti Volga operational zone, is nearing completion in Balakovsky district. This year, the transformer replace and the work on the modernization of open and complete switchgears will be performed. The facility provides power supply to consumers in the central part of the city of Balakovo.
Among the most significant projects, there is the renovation of open and complete switchgears at the 110/10 kV substation of “Mokrous”. It provides power supply to more than 9 thousand residents of six settlements of the Fedorovsky district, to social, railway and transport infrastructure facilities.
The power suppliers will replace the complete switchgear at the 110/6 kV substation of “Wastewater Treatment Plant” in the Pugachevsky district. In addition to the new switching equipment, the installation of microprocessor-based relay protection systems, a digital port, an operating current control device, and digital electric meters is provided in this switchgear. This will make it possible to integrate the substation into the emerging intelligent system of electric grids at the further renovation.
During the investment program implementation, the works on overhead power lines will be also carried out. The power suppliers will carry out the removal of 3 supports from the flooding zone at the 110 kV overhead line of CHPP-2 – Krasny Yar, in order to increase the power supply reliability. On the same OL, as part of the overhaul of the R-228 highway of “Syzran – Saratov – Volgograd”, 3 supports with a height of 30 m will be installed at the intersection with the highway.
Activities aimed at the development of the region's electric grid complex will increase the efficiency of its operation, the reliability and quality of power supply to consumers in the Saratov region.
