Rosseti Volga, PJSC provided more than 515 MW of power to applicants

In 2020, the power suppliers of Rosseti Volga, PJSC completed 15,993 technological connection (TC) agreements and provided the applicants with more than 515 MW of capacity in the Saratov, Samara, Ulyanovsk, Orenburg and Penza regions, the Republics of Mordovia and Chuvashia. As a result, the length of the electric grids increased by almost 1.5 thousand km, and the transformer capacity – by more than 97 MVA.

During the year, the company's specialists connected healthcare and education institutions, industrial sites and agricultural enterprises, utility, transport, telecommunications infrastructure facilities, residential complexes and private houses to the electric grids.

Volgapower suppliers contributed to the implementation of the Healthcare National Project by connecting more than 130 feldsher-midwife stations and offices of general practitioners to electric grids. The important project was the work on the technological connection of the modular infectious disease center, built by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the Orenburg region.

Last year, the company's specialists actively contributed to improving the infrastructure of the regions, ensuring the operation of street lighting systems in more than 240 settlements in the Company's responsibility zone.

Among the large facilities of technological connection, there are enterprises for agricultural products production and processing: the MacProm macaroni factory in the Saratov region, the Agroholding A7 Agro enterprise operating on the basis of the “from field to counter” principle and the Kushulskie Teplitsy eco-farm in the Orenburg region, the Oktyabrskaya agricultural farm, the enterprises of Mordovsky Becon and Romadanovosakhar in the Republic of Mordovia.

By providing the required electrical power, Rosseti Volga, PJSC ensured the development of chemical industry enterprises, manufacturers of building materials and cable products: Henkel Rus (Saratov region), EuroBioTech and Samara Stroyfarfor (Samara region), Chaadaevsky Penobeton (Penza region), Saranskkabel-Optica (Republic of Mordovia).

In the field of “green energy” development, projects for connecting solar power plants to the grids in the Saratov and Orenburg regions have been implemented.
