Gazprom’s Headquarters hosted a meeting on operation, inspection, designing and construction of gas distribution stations.
Attending the meeting were heads and experts of Gazprom’s core business units and subsidiaries, research and development organizations, manufacturing plants as well as public and corporate bodies responsible for hazardous production facilities monitoring.
The meeting addressed topical issues in relation to gas distribution stations operation and outlined key aspects of Gazprom’s technical policy in this direction. In particular, the parties identified Gazprom’s requirements towards equipment to be installed at new and to be upgraded, overhauled or replaced at existing gas distribution stations.
Representatives of manufacturing plants informed the meeting of measures being stepped up to enhance the quality and reliability of gas distribution stations and of their expanded construction outlooks.

Gazprom is operating some 3.8 thousand gas distribution stations. Over 500 stations are annually overhauled with partial or full replacement of technological equipment for the purpose of providing consumers with secure gas deliveries.
