Golden Telecom continues to expand its international partner network

Moscow, Russia (March 21, 2007).GoldenTelecom, Inc. (“Golden Telecom” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: “GLDN”), a leading facilities-based provider of integrated telecommunications and Internet services in major population centers throughout Russia and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (“CIS”), announces today it has signed a cooperation and technical interconnection agreement with Eircom, a national Irish operator.

Golden Telecom announces the agreement signing and the launch of interconnection with the Irish incumbent Eircom. It is the first Irish operator with whom Golden Telecom starts traffic exchange. Golden Telecom will use its point of presence in London as the interconnection point for bilateral traffic exchange with calling line identification and roaming numbers support.

Currently, Golden Telecom has 216 international partners, of which 130 are in CIS countries. The company’s partner network includes multinational and national operators, such as AT&T(USA), VerizonBusiness(USA), Sprint (USA), iBasis (USA), Teleglobe(Canada), NTTCommunications(Japan), KoreaTelecom(Korea),  BritishTelecom(UK), Cables&Wireless(UK), DeutscheTelekom(Germany), TelecomItalia Sparkle(Italy), KPNRoyalDutch(the Netherlands), Belgacom(Belgium), CzechTelecom(Czech Republic), OTEGlobe(Greece), TelekomAustria(Austria), Teledenmark(Denmark), and TeliaSonera(Sweden). Direct partner relations established with operators outside Russia and other CIS countries enable Golden Telecom to transmit traffic to the USA, and to countries in Western and Eastern Europe, Asia, and the Pacific region.

Presently, only two alternative operators (including Golden Telecom) have received access codes for provision of DLD/ILD services.
