The Ninth International Exhibition “Power Industry. Electric Engineering. Power saving” supported by Perm regional administration and Perm city Mayer’s office took place in Perm city on September 23-26. IES-Holding “Ural generation” Division was the exhibition’s official partner.
One of the key events of the Exhibition’s business program was the conference “The new structure of Perm Regional Power Industry”. At this conference the leader on strategic networks management of IES-Holding “Ural Generation” Division Ivan Stukalov made the report “IES-Holding business model reformation – “Ural Generation” Division creation. The report included information on IES-Holding, the Holding’s transition to the divisional management structure, “Ural Generation” Division’s establishment and activity.
During the official closing ceremony IES-Holding “Ural Generation” Division was rewarded with the honorary diploma “For reliable and uninterrupted power supply to Russian Regions”.
The Organizers stressed that IES-Holding was a reliable partner of Perm Region and provided for the stable operation of the existing power facilities and networks as well as for the development of the generating capacities to meet to the Region’s growing demands.
“Ural Generation” Division
IES-Holding “Ural Generation” Division unites generating and heat supply assets of JSC “TGC-5” and JSC “TGC-9”. The division includes 34 power plants located in seven subjects of the Russian Federation: Perm region, Sverdlovsk and Kirov regions, Udmurtian and Chuvashia Republics, Komi and Mari El Republics. The installed power capacity of the generating assets of the Division is 5782 MWt, the heat capacity is 25 818 GKal/h.
Ural Generation’s control centre is situated in Perm city. Personnel include over 17 thousand people. The division manager is the executive Vice-president of “IES” Andrey Makarov.
IES-Holding
IES-Holding (Integrated Energy System) is the largest Private Company of Russia, operating in the field of power supply and gas distribution, founded in 2002. The key activity directions include the generation, power trading and retail sales. The Holding’s strategic assets are TGC-5, TGC-6, TGC-7, TGC-9, a number of regional power supply companies as well as GASEKS – the company operating in the sphere of gas distribution and supply in Russia and the Ukraine. The aggregated installed power capacity of TGCs where the IES-Holding is the strategic shareholder, is 15 767 MWt, heat capacity is 67 799 GKal/h.
