OJSC “TGC-9” is implementing a large-scale investment program in all its production branches. The program is directed at preparation of the stations’ equipment and heating mains for the winter period 2008-2009. In 2007 plans of TGC-9 repair campaign were fully performed that allowed to provide reliable and constant power supply during the autumn-winter period. In 2008 the new owner of the Company – IES-Holding will assign 2.5 million rubles for conducting mid-life repairs and overhauls of 52 power units, carrying out all necessary scheduled works on heating mains’ preparation.

More than 44 million rubles were directed at implementation of repair works in Zakamskaya CHP-5, which is responsible for reliable heat supply of Krasnokamsk consumers. Within the works on preparation for the winter period power engineers have performed mid-life repairs of two turbo units, broadened current maintenance of the boiler #6 and current repairs of two boilers. Besides, they have completed an overhaul of the boiler unit.

As of today power engineers have begun an overhaul of boiler #1. This is the boiler with the highest capacity at the station, its efficiency is 240 tons of steam per hour. The overhaul of the unit will enable to increase operation life. The overhaul of the boiler is supposed to be completed by September 30, 2008.

All repairs of equipment, buildings and reconstruction works at Zakamskaya CHP-5 are performed in accordance with the annual plans and schedules.
