The principle results of operating activity for the three years are formation of organizational structure of the Company, implementation of a range of investment projects and successful issue of additional shares, as a result of which IES-HOLDING has become the major shareholder of OJSC “Territorial Generating Company ?9”.

During the time of its operation, TGC-9 is persistently developing capacities of energy production. The amount of investment program in 2006 made 1.7 billion rubles, in 2007 TGC-9 invested 3.5 billion rubles into capacity development. Among the largest implemented investment projects of TGC-9 is putting into operation new turbo units at Bereznikovskaya HPP-2, Zakamskaya HPP-5, Tchaikovskaya HPP-18. TGC-9 is planning to implement the large-scale projects on increasing power stations capacities.

TGC-9 is developing and implementing projects on development of heat supply infrastructure at its territory. In spring 2007 TGC-9 together with Ekaterinburg administration has developed an investment program of centralized heat supply development till 2009. The introduction of scheme of charging for joining to heating networks has become the financing source of the program. It is a transparent and clear system which will allow TGC-9 to provide all consumers with heat. Similar works are carried out in Perm. OJSC “TGC-9" won the municipal contest for working out the program of complex infrastructure development in Perm in 2009-2025 in respect of heat supply.

OJSC “TGC-9" has performed works on continuous supply of Berezniki city (Perm Region) with heat, in relation to the accident at OJSC “Uralkaly” mine. To provide the reliable heat supply of the city, in case HPP-10 located in the zone of probable downfall is impossible to go on, Territorial Generating Company ?9 has worked out and executed a range of measures on reliable heat supply of Berezniki city which cost the Company more than 1 billion rubles.

In 2007-2008 there has taken place a change of the majority shareholder in OJSC "?GC-9". In December 2007 IES-HOLDING became an owner of 33,94 % of OJSC "?GC-9" shares previously belonged to RAO "UES" and accounted for the state. In March 2008 IES-HOLDING bought out OJSC "?GC-9" equities of additional issue. As a result, after authorized capital had increased and additional equities had been issued, Integrated Energy Systems consolidated more than 75 % of OJSC "?GC-9" shares.

As a part of IES-HOLDING ?GC-9 will have to transit to a new business model in the nearest future. The completely integrated business model will include a «Generation of the Urals» division established on the basis of generating and power network assets of TGC-5 and TGC-9 enterprises (electric power and heat production, heating networks), a "Trading" division (fuel purchasing, work at the wholesale power market, bilateral contracts on heat supply) and a "Retail sales" division (sales of electricity, heat, gas).
