At Wednesday’s meeting with the RF President Putin V.V. d-r Simon M. Vainshtock Transneft Chief Executive said that the Company starts its engineering work with regard to the Eastern Siberia-the Pacific Ocean oil pipeline.  “ First section will be constructed from Taishet to Skovorodino and further to Nakhodka” , Vainshtock informed.
He has informed Putin on Transneft’s activity regarding to enlargement of the Baltic Pipeline System. “ We’ve increased capacity of BPS up to 55 million tones per year”.  Currently, the Company is working on BPS expansion up to 60 mln tones annually. Putin V.V. specified that initial capacity totaled 30 mln tones per year. 
Besides, d-r Vainshtock touched upon results of Company’s activity over 2004. “ We have been able to increase oil export from Russia by 34 million tones”, he said. 
President Putin V.V. and d-r Vainshtock S.M. had a talk on Transneft activities regarding the Northern route and also relationships with partners.
