In the show room of the Polytechnic University Scientific Council took place the Second exhibition of inventions and handicrafts "St.-Petersburg Intellectual Property", devoted to the 300-th anniversary of the city. Organizers of the exhibition are the Creative union of inventors, Regional inventions' foundation and St.-Petersburg Handicraft Chamber.
    The main purpose of the exhibition is to introduce the most important and interesting projects of the inventors and handicraft workers, capable to contribute into the development of industry and business as well as to attract investments, to the public and business society.
    In frames of the exhibition were organized round tables on the basic sections and a conference on the difficulties of the rule-making as well as intellectual property use and protection.
The JSC "ZVEZDA" exhibited its detector of liquefaction "IR~1", or "Viscosimeter" - a device intended to measure the viscosity of oil and heavy fuel automatically in the wide range of temperature and pressure of the operating heat engines, first of all, in the internal-combustion engines.
    "IR~1" provides simultaneous indication of viscosity and temperature of the working substance and may be used in the laboratory conditions to take oil viscosity-and-temperature parameter. Installation of the device provides oil viscosity changes permanent control, that allows to carry out primarily test of the state of the oil and diesel engine.
    Viscosimeter was bench- and laboratory tested in the JSC "ZVEZDA".
