Verkhnaya Salda Metallurgical Production Association (VSMPO) hereby notifies that in view of the continued fall in the rate of exchange of the US dollar to the Russian rouble in 2004, as well as the continued increase in the manufacturing costs due to the raised raw material, energy, transportation costs and wages, the sale prices for ingots and all types of titanium alloy wrought products designated both for the Russian and overseas customers shall be increased by 7-9% starting from March 1st, 2004.
This price increase does not apply to the already concluded Agreements and Contracts, including Long Term Agreements.
