Bank Vozrozhdeniye issued the first VISA Gold chip card of the standard VSDC (VISA Smart Debit/Credit).

Bank Vozrozhdeniye is planning to launch VISA Electron, Classic, Business and Platinum chip cards of the standard VSDC beginning with May 2003. The Bank is planning to issue over 200 thousand chip cards within the third quarter of the year 2003.

All chip cards of the Bank possess the inserted 2-Galleon chips of Schlumberger production and provide for additional options.

In March 2003, Bank Vozrozhdeniye got a license of the VISA payment system to issue VISA Gold chip cards as a full-option-issuer.
