During the remote meeting, the organization of the work of the electric power industry enterprises under the conditions of self-isolation related to the prevention of coronavirus infection was discussed.
At present, Mordovenergo Branch of Rosseti Volga ( brand of IDGC of Volga, PJSC) is included in the list of system-forming industrial organizations approved by the Government of the Republic of Mordovia in which suspension of activity is not possible due to production and technical conditions.
Such a decision helps to ensure stable power supply in the Republic of Mordovia and to conduct intensive preparation of the power grid complex for operation in the 2020/2021 autumn-winter period as part of an instruction from the Head of the Rosseti Group of Companies, Pavel Livinsky.
Mordovenergo Branch operates in a manner that enforces all infection prevention measures. Most office workers have switched to remote mode. Workers on guard duty are issued permits for moving around the city. Now, the operational and dispatching personnel, as well as specialists involved in mandatory work to prepare for the AWP stay at workplaces.
Vladimir Ryabikin emphasized that the schedule of repairs is 100 % fulfilled. Planned maintenance and repair costs for Mordovenergo Branch for 2020 will exceed 311 million rubles. In 2020, the clearing of glades will be carried out on an area of more than 621 ha. In total, over 747 km of overhead lines of 35 kV and above, 622 transformer substations are planned to be repaired in the Republic of Mordovia, 7,658 insulators have been replaced by overhead lines and a range of other works.
The planned indicators of the 2020 branch investment program are also being implemented in full. Another topic of a telephone discussion between Vladimir Ryabikin and Vladimir Volkov was the elimination of the effects of a cyclone (wind with gusts of up to 20 m/s, wet snow), which passed through the territory of the Republic of Mordovia on April 12. It resulted in technological violations at power grid facilities of 6–10 kV. 32 emergency recovery teams were involved in the work, which included 103 people, 36 pieces of equipment of the Mordovenergo branch.
Thanks to the efforts and operational measures, the power supply to settlements and consumers was completely restored by the evening of April 12. The Head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov expressed his gratitude to the General Director of IDGC of Volga, PJSC Vladimir Ryabikin for the professionalism, integrity and high dedication of everyone who organized and carried out emergency recovery work, and also thanked for the reliable, high-quality and safe power supply to the region.
