Mordovenergo branch of Rosseti Volga (a brand of IDGC of Volga, PJSC) continues implementing the 2020 repair program.

In June, 9 substations will be repaired: 110 kV Alekseyevka Substation, 110 kV Yelniki Substation, 110 kV Krasnoslobodsk Substation, 110 kV Romodanovo Substation, 110 kV Rybkino Substation, 35 kV Apraksino Substation, 35 kV Dyurki Substation, 35 kV Purkayevo Substation, 35 kV Yandovishche Substation. The purpose of the work is to increase the reliability, quality and safety of power supply to consumers, industrial and agricultural enterprises of the region.

113 transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV will also be repaired. In addition, this month in the settlements of the republic, Mordovenergo personnel will replace 3.1 km of uninsulated 0.4 kV overhead lines with a self-supporting insulated wire, which significantly reduces the possibility of emergency shutdowns.

This month, clearing of overhead power lines continues. Work is planned on the area of almost 175 hectares.

Power engineers are carrying out work under tight control of compliance with security measures in the current epidemiological situation. The staff is fully provided with personal protective equipment and hygiene. Constant monitoring of the health status of employees is ongoing. The repair campaign is part of the range of measures to ensure reliable and high-quality power supply to consumers in the coming winter.
