Penzaenergo, the branch of Rosseti Volga (the brand of IDGC of Volga, PJSC), in the framework of the all-Russian program for the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, has installed the scheduled charging stations for electric vehicles in Kuznetsk (17 Industrialnaya Street) and Nizhny Lomov (21 Shosseynaya Street).
Another station, also owned by the distribution grid company, is installed in Penza on Gladkova Street, next to the building of the Executive Office of the Penza branch.
The station charges electric cars with three-phase alternating current. The rated voltage is 230-380 Volts at 50 Hz. The maximum charge current from the three-phase outlet per each port is 32 A. The maximum power output per port is 22 kW.
Two cars can be simultaneously charged at the station. The outlet type according to IEC 62196 is Type 2. In the near future, stations in Kuznetsk and Nizhny Lomov will be added to the global list of charging points of the popular PlugShare application.
In order to recharge an electric car or a hybrid, a person should call the representatives of the distribution grid company on the phone numbers listed on the information plates located nearby. Power engineers will explain the charging rules and help to connect the car to the charging station.
