IDGC of Volga is open for small and medium-sized business

The Doors Open Day for small and medium-sized business representatives was held in the Pravoberezhny Production office of Saratov Branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of the Rosseti).

Interest in the event was manifested by MSP Corporation, JSC, regional offices of the social organizations “Support of Russia” and “Business Russia,” companies of Povolzhye specialized in wholesaling of electrical equipment, telecommunications provider and banks.

Business community representatives interactively discussed the issues related to cooperation with the power grid company under the procurement procedures as well as the prospects for collaboration.

Vladimir Tsvetkov, the Head of the Procurement Planning and Organizing Department of IDGC of Volga noticed interest in building up business contacts and increase of the share of procurement from small and medium-sized enterprises having emphasized that the company is successfully implementing the action plan aimed at extension of such market players’ access to procurement. As of today, 50 such enterprises from 15 regions of the Russian Federation are partners of IDGC of Volga. “We hope their number will increase this year, taking into consideration the transparency and information openness of the procurement activities,” said Vladimir Tsvetkov.

One of the company’s objectives is increased share of procurement of the innovative products and research, development and technological works from the small and medium-sized business entities in the total annual purchases. This is associated with the implementation of the Innovative Development Program of IDGC of Volga, PJSC.

Dmitry Tolmachev, the Head of the Department for Technical Development and Innovations of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, informed the attendees on the company’s plans on implementation of “digital grids” technology and noted that IDGC of Volga, PJSC is already implementing the pilot project on introduction of the“digital grids” technology aimed at creating a “digital substation.”

 The project provides for comprehensive works on creation of an up-to-date power grid facility, including introduction of the equipment supporting information transfer protocols in accordance with IEC 61850.

 In 5 years ahead a number of the pilot projects on creating digital PDZ and digital SS is planned to be implemented on the territory of operation of IDGC of Volga, PJSC. Small and medium-sized business entities being engaged in such works will definitely facilitate successful implementation of the IDGC of Volga, PJSC pilot projects.
