Power engineers of the Mordovenergo Branch of Rosseti Volga, PJSC have started the implementation of the repair program.

According to the plan, 35 substations (SS) of 35/110 kV will be repaired in 2021. The largest of them are 110 kV Atemar SS, 110 kV Atyuryevo SS, 110 kV Bolshoye Ignatovo SS, 110 kV GKS SS, 110 kV Krasnoslobodsk SS, 110 kV Lada SS, 110 kV Rayonnaya SS, 110 kV Sarast SS, 35 kV Dyurki SS, 35 kV Pervomayskaya SS. 566 transformer substations (TS) of 10/0.4 kV, 34 power transformers of 10/0.4 kV, 1,057 km of overhead lines (OL) of 0.4–110 kV will be repaired.

Also, this year, at TSs of republic's settlements, the branch employees will replace 8.4 km of non-insulated 0.4–10 kV outputs to OLs with a protected wire that significantly reduces the possibility of emergency shutdowns.

In 2021, it is planned to clear glades of 10 kV OL with an area of 140 hectares, 35 kV OL – 136 hectares, 110 kV OL – 472 hectares.

The purpose of the repair campaign work is to prepare power equipment and power facilities for the autumn-winter maximum load. It is this period that power engineers pay special attention to in their work.
