The Orenburgenergo Branch of Rosseti Volga, PJSC develops the charging infrastructure in the region of presence. Today, there are 3 electric charging stations (ECS) for owners of electric cars in Orenburg and Orsk. The nearest plans include the arrangement of several more electric charging stations in cities, on federal and regional highways. The charging stations will be equipped within the Concept for the Development of the Charging Infrastructure of Rosseti PJSC for the period of 2020–2025, the regional part of which is currently being developed by Orenburgenergo specialists.

To date, about 100 electric vehicles drive along the Orenburg roads. Basically, their owners are residents of the regional center. They are recharged at stations located near large shopping malls. The most popular one among car users is the ECS near the “Armada 2” shopping mall (2a Nezhinskoye Highway). According to the power suppliers’ estimates, 1,515 charging sessions for 14 thousand kW*h of electric energy took place in 2020.
