Tests of Control Center (CC Penzaenergo, JSC) were carried out in Penzaenergo, JSC on the 27-28th of March 2008. The tests were successful. Since April 2008 the Center will be launched in the commercial operation.

CC is established on the basis of the resolution of RAO UES of Russia about the formation of dispatching offices in distribution and grid companies and branches of UES FGC of Russia which will make operational control over, and the operation of electric grids. According to the technical director of Penzaenergo, JSC, Mikhail Kozhevnikov, the launch of Control Center will make it possible to react quicker to power supply faults in grids with average voltage 6-10-35 kilovolts. A continuous power supply of consumers depends directly on the stable function of these grids. The way of transmission of the information about faults in the operation at concrete facilities to the center of decisions making and to the opposite side decrease also thanks to CC that makes it possible to react quickly to off-optimum situations. The operation of CC will make it possible to increase the quality of power supplied and the invariance of its parameters.
