The Mordovenergo Branch of Rosseti Volga, PJSC is a pioneer in the Republic of Mordovia in the development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.

This project is one of the first steps taken by Rosseti Volga in the region to create new power grid services for charging electric vehicles and develop additional services based on highly automated technologies and platform solutions.

As part of the implementation of the Program for the Development of the Charging Infrastructure of Rosseti Volga and the Concept for the Development of the Charging Infrastructure of Rosseti, PJSC for the period of 2020-2025 on the territory of the Republic of Mordovia, it is planned to install charging stations for electric vehicles.

Electric charging stations will be mainly located in the republican center (Saransk) near large shopping centers, city parks, hotels, as well as on federal and regional highways (entrance from M-5 "Ural").

The development of the electric vehicle market, taking into account the rise in the cost of hydrocarbon fuel in the future, is proceeding at an accelerated pace. Proactive actions to create an affordable charging infrastructure, create transport corridors between major cities for barrier-free movement of electric transport is one of the urgent tasks for the further dynamic development of the region.

At present, an alternating current station of the Mode 3 type has already been installed in Saransk. It is located in a public place in the northwestern part of the city at the address 6 Lodygina Str., Saransk. The station is equipped with two 22 kW charging stations each with mennekes Type 2 connectors and has free access and free parking spaces for both charging stations.
