Valery Radaev, the Governor of the Saratov region, expressed gratitude to Rosseti Volga, PJSC for professional and prompt solution of production tasks aimed at implementing measures to combat the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19. Full marks of the power engineers’ activities are recognition of effective work in difficult social and economic conditions.
In early spring 2020, a self-isolation regime was introduced in all Russian regions. In the shortest possible time, more than 80 % of Rosseti Volga's office employees switched to remote work. The work safety of electricians, dispatchers, drivers and other categories of personnel, whose work cannot be performed remotely, has been ensured. All divisions of Rosseti Volga carry out constant control over the observance of the mask regime and preventive measures. We installed thermal imagers, dispensers for antiseptics, air recirculators, and bactericidal lamps. The health status of employees is constantly monitored.
The interaction with regional authorities allowed the power engineers to fulfill one of the main tasks – to ensure full preparation of the power grid complex for operation in the autumn-winter period of 2020–2021.
The transition to remote mode did not affect the efficiency and quality of the Company's client services. By the time the anti-epidemic regime was introduced, the required level of automation had already been achieved, the specialists of Rosseti Volga had gained experience in remote interaction with consumers. Almost the entire past year, work with consumers was successfully carried out online, primarily with the help of the Unified Portal of Power Grid Services and the Rosseti – Personal Account mobile application (iOS and Android).
As a result of the implementation of a set of measures related to work in a pandemic, Rosseti Volga is successfully fulfilling its obligations to ensure uninterrupted power supply to consumers and the development of electrical networks in seven regions of the Volga Federal District.
