Chuvash power engineers are open for interaction with the business community

A public workshop on participation in procurement for small and medium-sized companies was held in Cheboksary. In total, the event was attended by over 100 representatives of small and medium-sized companies of the Chuvash Republic. One of the speakers was the Head of the Planning and Procurement Organization Department of the Logistics and Procurement Department of the branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (included in the Rossetti Group) - Chuvashenergo, Alexey Gubanov.

This event is held annually by JSC Federal Corporation for the development of small and medium enterprises (SME Corporation) with the support of the Chuvash Republic Government in accordance with Federal Law No. 223 On procurement of goods, works, services, certain types of legal entities.

Chuvashrepresentatives of small and medium-sized companies were able to ask questions and get answers about the procurement system features, taking into account current changes in legislation and established practice. During the workshop, entrepreneurs found answers to many relevant issues, namely, on documentation requirements, business support measures, warranty instruments and legal aspects of participation in procurement activities. They also discussed the participation of small and medium-sized companies of the Chuvash Republic in the procurement of large state corporations, including IDGC of Volga, PJSC.

In particular, they discussed the peculiarities of procurement procedures among SMEs, the procedure for their participation in tenders using electronic platforms and the conclusion of contracts. The branch has a partnership program between IDGC of Volga and SMEs, which is aimed at creating and supporting a class of reliable, qualified and responsible suppliers, contractors, performers from among the SMEs, who ensure the implementation of state policy on small and medium-sized companies development through the company's purchases. The so-called “RoadMap” is also being implemented - a plan of measures to expand the access of SMEs to the procurement of infrastructure monopolies and companies with state participation. The Roadmap activities are aimed at developing competition, improving the quality of prepared applications for participation in procurement, promoting and increasing the transparency of the procurement system, activating SMEs in placing orders, as well as creating a positive image of the company in the society.

 The Roadmap is aimed at significantly increasing the share of SMEs in the procurement of infrastructure monopolies and companies with state participation. Also, the Roadmap provides for an increase in the share of purchases of innovative products and research, development, and technological work for small and medium-sized companies in the total annual volume of purchases. This is especially relevant in the framework of the digital transformation concept implementation of the integrated power grid by IDGC of Volga, PJSC.
