As part of the project for creation of an automated technical electricity metering system at inputs of a 10(6)/0.4 kV package transformer substation (digitalization of networks), Penzaenergo Branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC will install 5.5 thousand electricity metering points.

The installation of the system will continue until 2020 inclusive. The system of automated technical metering of electricity will allow to remotely collect data on the network load, line voltage, as well as on the amount of power transmission. At the same time, it will ensure balancing of distribution grids of 10-0.4 kV, and this, in turn, will contribute to a more rapid identification of sources of power losses and reduce its losses.

 The first step that assumes installation of 2,174 metering points finishes in zones of technological responsibility of Penzaenergo Branch at the end of December 2018. During the next two years, the power suppliers will install the rest of 3,326 metering points.
