IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti) got a passport of readiness for work in the 2018/2019 heating period based on the decision of the Ministry of Energy of Russia. “This year, the Ministry of Energy rated the power companies’ availability for service in the autumn-winter period according to a new method,” noted the General Director of IDGC of Volga, PJSC Vladimir Ryabikin.
“Our Company got the highest readiness index – 1. This means that all facilities of IDGC of Volga are completely ready to work in heavy weather conditions”.
To ensure reliable power supply to consumers, the company conducted an annual large-scale training. 12 thousand km of overhead power transmission lines (OL) of 35 kV and higher, 32 thousand km of OL 0.4-10 kV; 646 substations SS 35 kV and higher, 5,814 transformer substations 6-10/0.4 kV have been repaired, 5,600 ha of overhead power transmission line routing have been cleaned.
In case of natural disasters, 63 mobile brigades are ready to promptly eliminate consequences of the winter disaster. To connect socially significant facilities, the company has 120 mobile backup sources of power supply of 30 kW and more, with a total capacity of over 11.5 MW.
