Specialists of all departments of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), commenced large-scale repair works.

The repair program is conducted in order to maintain the reliability and quality of power supply to consumers. Power engineers work in several directions: repair of power transmission lines with the replacement of the supports and wires, repair of transformers and other equipment of the substations.

The schedule for 2016 implies work on 166 substations (35–110 kV) and 1,592 transformer substations. 279 transformers will be sent for overhaul to the operational workshop. Power engineers plan to restore more than 1,350 km of power transmission lines of all voltage classes and clear about 500 hectares of PTL corridors from trees and shrubs. Repair works will be completed by the beginning of autumn-winter period.
