Employees of the Central Production Department of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), perform modernization of street lighting system in villages of Perevolotskiy and Sakmarskiy districts of the Orenburg region. Street lighting is already restored in Mamalaevka and Abramovka villages. New lights will be installed soon in three settlements of the Sakmarskiy district: Yereminka, Dvoriki, Grebeni. Modernization of street lighting systems in villages Karinovka, Era and Adamovka of the Perevolotskiy district will be completed by the end of 2015. In total, 302 street lights will be installed in villages of the central area. Start-up and metering equipment will also be mounted. Launched in 2008, the Luminous Region Program was intended to address a number of challenges commonly encountered in all Russian rural communities, e.g. ensuring comfortable living conditions for rural dwellers, road safety both for vehicles and passengers, etc.
