Prior to the repair campaign 2015, Chuvashenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), received a permit for the large-scale repair operations, based on the relevant report. To obtain such permit, all production departments of the Company underwent a thorough inspection in compliance with the Regulations on preparation for large-scale repair campaign. Personnel of the Company completed knowledge assessment procedure, underwent medical examination and practiced safe methods of work execution at electrical installations. Another important aspect ensuring high level of preparedness for the large-scale repair operations is availability and good working order of necessary equipment, tools, devices, appurtenances, lifting tackle and personal protective equipment, including special arc-resistant cloths and footwear. For Chuvashenergo branch power workers, repair program for electric grid facilities is one of the main measures for improvement of reliability and quality of power supply. Successful passage of the autumn and winter period greatly depends on its implementation.
