The 17th specialized exhibition “Power Engineering. Energy Efficiency – 2015” arranged under the auspices of the Government of the Saratov region, the Ministry of Industry and Power Engineering of the Saratov region, and Sofit-Expo Exhibition Center was held in Saratov. For IDGC of Volga, JSC, the largest distribution power grid company providing transmission and technological connection services in 7 regions of the Volga Federal District including the Saratov region, participation in this exhibition has become a tradition. Visitors of the exposition booth of IDGC of Volga, JSC could obtain information on the scope and specifics of the company’s operations and ask questions to specialists. In the round table discussion held within the framework of the exhibition, representatives of IDGC of Volga, JSC presented Development of Charging Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles presentation. Power engineers told about participation of the company in the all-Russia program for development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles implemented by Rosseti, JSC. Electric buses shall become a priority for the Saratov region as one of the key regions of Russia for manufacture of electric vehicles. Development of charging infrastructure encouraging implementation of electric vehicles will make it possible to improve environmental situation in the cities, raise rate of development of business activity of the plants, and it will stimulate growth of the region economy.
