Over 1,400 facilities connected to networks of Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC during three quarters of 2013

Over the last nine months of 2013, specialists of Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC connected 1,414 consumer facilities, with the total capacity of 24,793.28 kW. As reported by the Department of Technological Connection, 907 facilities are classified as residential buildings. The aggregate capacity of connected electrical equipment in the residential sector is 8,446 kW.
For the rest of technological connec, the aggregate capacity of consumer equipment is 16,347.28 kW. Basically, these are social facilities and amenities and small-scale manufacturing businesses. Besides, official representatives of the Department of Technological Connection reported the increased number of requests for technological connection to the branch grids as compared with the same period in 2012. Such increase is primarily caused by the general positive trend of sustainable economic growth in the region. Among the largest facilities connected to the power network over the past nine months are: diatomite mining facilities in the Nikolsky district (320 kW), warehousing and production facilities in Penza (550 kW); the production shop in Penza (400 kW); the confectionery shop in the town of Belinsky (1,500 kW), the sunflower seeds processing facilities in the Neverkinsky district (750 kW), and the confectionery shop in Mokshan industrial community (1,600 kW).
By the end of 2013, over 1,500 consumer facilities of the Penza region are expected to be connected to the power networks of Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC.
