Specialists of Central Electrical Grids of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), reconstruct the electric grids in the Chyorniy Otrog settlement in the Saraktash district. The reconstruction operations carried out under the investment program of the branch involve full replacement of old 10 and 0.4 kV power transmission lines and transformer substations. Total length of reconstructed electric grids will be 42.25 kilometers. “The electric grids in the Chyorniy Otrog settlement were built in 1970-80s. In addition to routine repair and overhauls, a major reconstruction was needed to ensure reliable power supply", explained Igor Prikhodko, Director of Central Electrical Grids of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC. "At the design stage, we ensured the use of materials and equipment recommended for power facilities of Rosseti, JSC. All materials and equipment come with technical passports confirming their quality.” To increase reliability of power supplies to the rural settlement, power engineers will replace 1,265 supports and will route self-carrying insulated wires (over 92 kilometers). The reconstruction program involves installation of 18 transformer substations and refurbishment of outdoor lighting networks. 418 lights with energy-saving LED lamps will be installed in the streets of Chyorniy Otrog. “Our specialists eliminated serious problems beforehand by replacing old utilities", declared Zufar Gabzalilov, Head of Village Soviet of the Chyorniy Otrog settlement. "In addition, the construction of a memorial complex named after Viktor Stepanovich Chernomyrdin is in progress. The complex features a museum, showrooms, sports facilities, a swimming pool and an educational center for children. And we need higher power capacity to keep these facilities in operation.”
