On 7 December 2010 a session of the Board of Directors of “Interregional Distribution Grid Company of Volga”, Joint-Stock Company took place in Saratov arranged in the form of face-to-face and virtual participation and chaired by Gennady Binko, member of the Management Board and Deputy General Director of IDGC Holding, JSC. At the session of the Board of Directors one considered the report of IDGC of Volga, JSC on the progress of Company’s preparation for operation during the 2010 / 2011 autumn / winter season. In this report Deputy General Director on Technical issues – Chief Engineer of IDGC of Volga, JSC Vladimir Kucherenko communicates that all the actions planned to provide for absolute preparedness of the equipment and personnel for management of the maximum consumption of power during the autumn / winter season and that the repairs and the investment programs are being implemented as scheduled. On 29 October 2010 by virtue of the Report on Review of Preparedness for operation during the 2009 / 2010 autumn / winter season a Certificate of Preparedness was issued to IDGC of Volga, JSC Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, member of the Management Board and Deputy General Director of IDGC Holding, JSC Gennady Binko has highly evaluated efficient work of the management and the whole team of IDGC of Volga, JSC. In the course of the session member of the Board of Directors of the Company, Advisor to Chairman of the Management Board of SO of UES, JSC Iskander Ametov specially emphasized the expedient actions taken by the Company’s personnel that have enabled prevention of split of the Samara energy system during launch of the system automatic equipment for power cut in case of failures in third party entities’ grids. The Board of Directors took into advisement the report on the progress of Company’s preparation for operation during the 2010 / 2011 autumn / winter season.
