During the 9 months of the current year the amount of adopted capital expenditures on implementation of the investment program of Chuvashenergo branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC amounted to 166.206 mln. RUR. Major undertakings within the investment program implementation framework are works for reconstruction of the 110/6 kV Yuzhnaya substation, the 35/10 kV Pervomayskaya substation (envisaging replacement of 10 kV outdoor mounted factory-assembled switch-gear with 10 kV factory-assembled switch-gear), the building of the repair–and-operation station of the Yantikovsky District regional power grid as well as power transmission lines in a numbers of districts of Chuvashia. Large-scale reconstruction activities are in progress at the 110/6 kV Yuzhnaya substation located within the Cheboksary City territory. The project provides for complete replacement and dismantlement of the existing substation and staged construction of a new one. Currently reconstruction of the Yuzhnaya substation is coming to completion. In 2010 Chuvashenergo branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC proceeds with construction of new transmission lines to ensure supply of power to residential houses in rural settlements. With the facilities included in the investment program towards the transmission tariff the amount of capital expenditures adopted is equal to 14.790 mln. RUR. The funds were spent on construction of approximately 19 km of transmission lines in Chuvarley Settlement, Khirle-Sir Village and Syatrakasy Village as well as commissioning of 5 integrated transformer substations with a total capacity of 0.74 ÌVÀ. As far as facilities are concerned that were included in the investment program of Chuvashenergo branch as per technological connection source, one has commissioned approximately 2 km of transmission lines in Novyye Shaltyamy Village and Mikshi-Enzey Village, assembled and installed 2 integrated transformer substations with a total capacity of 0.32 ÌVÀ. Investment activities of Chuvashenergo branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC are aimed at engineering renovation of equipment and construction of new energy facilities. The investment program implementation will ensure uninterrupted operation of power grid equipment, enhanced consumer power supply as well as provision for a capacity margin required for development of the Chuvash Republic economy.
