With Chuvashenergo branch one has commenced the second stage of inspection of the production division preparedness to withstand peak loads during the coming autumn-winter season. The first stage of the Chuvashenergo branch production division preparedness inspection was completed in August of this year. Following its results the production divisions directors received formal notes stating the inconsistencies detected. At the current stage of the inspection the commission members (including not only officers of the Chuvashenergo branch executive bodies but also representatives of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision, Chuvashia Regional Dispatch Administration branch of “SO UPS”, JSC and Head Administration of the Russian Federation Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Response for the Chuvash Republic) will evaluate the work performed by Chuvashia power engineering specialists for preparation for the autumn-winter season. Noteworthily, among the requirements one has to meet in order to obtain the certificate of preparedness for operation during the autumn-winter season are compliance with the Russian Federation industrial safety legislation provisions, in-process control in place over compliance with industrial safety requirements inclusive of labor protection and fire safety issues, staffing workplaces with personnel properly trained and attested in accordance with the established procedure, availability of an emergency reserve of capital equipment, materials required and aids for performance of emergency recovery work in accordance with the approved lists (norms), preparedness for performance of emergency recovery work under low temperature conditions and many others. The final stage of inspection of the production divisions’ preparedness for the 2010/2011 autumn-winter season is to be completed on 30 September. In early October the commission of IDGC of Volga, JSC will arrive in Chuvashia to review Chuvashenergo branch preparedness for work during the coming autumn-winter season.
