To provide for reliable and stable energy supply IDGC of Volga, JSC is implementing an array of measures aimed at strengthening antiterrorist security of electric power grid facilities. During the current year the Saratov Distribution Grids branch of the Company is planned to have its on-duty guard service dissolved and replaced by security firm professionals which measure is meant to increase the level of production facilities security. The branch specialists are continuously working on implementation of new technical security equipment. One proceeds with installation of access control systems within production / process and administrative-and-household facilities. Special attention is paid to deployment of video surveillance systems. Their usage at substations will enable one to record not only unsanctioned intrusion occurrences but also technological process irregularities such as ignition or wire break. Video recording can also be used for current control purposes for detection of persons having committed unsanctioned intrusion on power facilities premises. Dispatchers and guard officers will be able to monitor situation within the substation and response to its changes. In total over 5 mln RUR will be additionally allocated during Q4 of the current year for purposes of providing the branch facilities with technical security equipment, video surveillance systems and alarm buttons.
