The quality certificate for the electrical energy supplied by the Company was awarded this week at the session of the Science and Technical Council of IDGC of Volga, JSC. S. Astafyev, director for Technical Development and Maintenance of IDGC of Volga, JSC, awarded the certificate on behalf of S. Kargin, Chief Metrologist of the Power Company. Mr. Astafyev noted that the Chuvashenergo Branch put forth a lot of effort to get the quality certificate for the electrical energy they produce. Among other things, the Company provided regular monitoring of the quality of the electricity, developed and introduced corrective actions regarding quality indicators in distribution grids. All the substations, which required such certification, are now certified. The certificates shall be valid for three years. Electrical energy is one of the products with most demand. Quality indicators are determined by special measurements and functioning mode calculations. The obtained values are then compared to normal indicators as shown in standards, requirements and other normative and technical documentation.
