Samara Distribution Grids, Branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC and the Samara Division of Opora Rossii Public Organization of Support of Small and Mid-Sized Business have signed a cooperation agreement. The goal of the document was to work on joint proposals on creating favorable conditions for interaction between the electric power company and the business community in Samara Region. One of the joint projects is the work on implementing the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated April 21, 2009 on providing discounted access points to networks of up to 100 kW capacity for small and mid-sized businesses. The agreement lists a number of joint initiatives, including introduction of innovative calculation protocols, developing and maintaining fair competition principles for all market players, participating in developing innovative technologies in the power sector. The agreement will allow the branch of one of the largest electrical power companies in Russia and the public organization representing the interests of entrepreneurs in Samara Region to exchange information expediently. This mechanism will allow to optimize electrical network legislation and simplify many of the procedures related to technological access. The management of the Company understands the responsibility before the enterprises who seek to benefit the regional development, said Vladimir Romanov, Director of the Samara Branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC. “Large power companies must work with the small and mid-sized business that has the potential to become the foundation of Russia’s national economy. Productive cooperation between Samara Distribution Grids and the regional entrepreneurs is one of our top priorities,” Mr. Romanov said.
